We are proud to announce that Ioannes Aurelius Serpentor has a new logo! This is the third type that this great project will be signing his work with, and this time it shall be final! It was designed by Sodom&Gomorrah (www.sodom-gomorrah.com): 

"I'm very excited to say that this new logotype has finally been designed to fully represent what I.A. SERPENTOR is! Apart from the letters, the most important thing is the 'Seal of Serpentor', circle in which was placed the alchemy symbol of phosphorus, but upside down. As you all know phosphorus is greek fos (meaning "light") and foros (meaning "bearer"). Inverted it shall mean the bearer of darkness. And that is what it's all about with me..." (I.A. SERPENTOR)

To celebrate this new logotype design [see it in the pics gallery on MySpace] the master himself prepared t-shirts which will be soon available through Insomnya Records and on the official I.A. SERPENTOR website (www.iaserpentor.com). The site was launched a month ago and it is still "in the making", but it shall be ready next year with the premiere of the next full-length album of Ioannes Aurelius Serpentor.

Nearly nine months the official website of I.A. SERPENTOR (formerly serpentoria.com) was not available to public. But since today we are finally back to deliver you even more than you can see on the Official I.A. SERPENTOR MySpace Page.

"I'm very excited to the re-launch of my official website. This time I've asked Sodom&Gomorrah (www.sodom-gomorrah.com) to create new design and it's fabulous! Simple, stunning and sexy! Not only my music but also, like on the old site, you can find here my writings"

The website was created in only few hours, and it still needs a lot of work, but you can find here already some great info about I.A. SERPENTOR. Be sure to check out for updates & stuff as this website is still under heavy construction.

Yet another great news from I.A. SERPENTOR. We have been keeping this information secret, because there were still negotiations taking place, but finally we can make it official! I.A. SERPENTOR. will participate in a split record with Canadian dark ambient / classical project GRIMORACLE! More details has Ioannes himself:

"I'm thrilled to be working with J. Scilla of GRIMORACLE! This upcoming split will be dark and lovecraftian! We've spent hours on talking about how this album should be prepared, and I can say that you will be surprised! Right now I can announce that it will be a concept album telling a story based on the Cthulhu Mythos!"
